Bookish Bingo: Spring 2017

I am so excited to be participating in another bookish bingo hosted by Bekka @ Pretty Deadly Reviews! The one held in winter helped me get through a lot of diverse books, and I’m hoping to continue that trend this spring.

To participate, all you have to do is visit Bekka’s blog and leave a comment on the bingo post. Then, just download the bingo card and get reading! It runs March through May, and at the end of the season, there will be a giveaway. More bingos equals more chances to win, and since I got three bingos during the winter, I’m hoping to get more than that this time around.

Below, you can find my tentative list of books to fit each square:

  • Muslim Main Character: Ms. Marvel Volume 1: No Normal
  • Green Cover: A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
  • Paranormal: Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
  • Just Words on Cover: Dark Matter by Blake Crouch
  • Sisters: Caraval by Stephanie Garber
  • Magic: Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton
  • Dragons: TBD
  • Spring Release: Into the Water by Paula Hawkins
  • Nonfiction: Dear Ijeawele, Or a Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions by Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie
  • Series Finale: The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater
  • Thriller: A Good Idea by Cristina Moracho
  • Politics or Government: The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
  • Purple Cover: Empress of a Thousand Skies by Rhonda Belleza
  • Over 500 Pages: A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab
  • POC on Cover: Traitor to the Throne by Alwyn Hamilton
  • Multi-POV: The Girl Before by J.P. Delaney
  • LGBT+ Main Character: The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli
  • Adapted to TV/Movie: The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood
  • Witches: TBD
  • 2017 Debut: City of Saints & Thieves by Natalie C. Anderson
  • Historical: The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson
  • Retelling: Spider-Gwen Vol. 0: Most Wanted?
  • Scary: Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn
  • Blue Cover: Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard

I still have a couple of squares that are To Be Determined (TBD), because I honestly can’t think of any books I’ll be reading that have to do with dragons or witches at the moment. Some books may get shuffled around, depending on what I come up with. But this list should keep me busy in the meantime!

Are you planning on participating in the book bingo? Or any other challenges/readalongs?
