T10T: Favorite Red, White & Blue Covers

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl.

Ok, so I’m really bad at paying attention to book covers. I can recognize when I like a cover, but it doesn’t necessarily stick with me unless I also like the story inside. Plus, I’ve been trying to have enough self-control to stop cover buying at bookstores (operative word being trying).

So, with that in mind, I’ve decided to focus more on my favorite red, white and blue books, rather than just covers. Here we go!

  1. Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
  2. Scythe by Neal Shusterman
  3. Vicious by V.E. Schwab
  4. The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
  5. Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
  6. A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab
  7. The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater
  8. Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
  9. White Rabbit by Caleb Roehrig
  10. To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo

Vicious is the only book in this list that I haven’t read yet. I fully intend to soon, especially with the upcoming release of the sequel, but I had to include the new cover because look at it!!

Have you read any of these books? What did you think Are any of them on your TBR? What are some of your favorite red, white, or blue book covers that I missed?
